Anthony Maurice Hilliard wasa born on January 1, 1972, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Major and Patricia Hilliard. Anthony was the first born of two children. He received his education in the Philadelphia School System, graduating and receiving his diploma from Dobbins Technical High School.
Anthony was taught at a very young age the importance of having a relationship with God. He attended Victory Memorial Baptist Church along with his family and later was baptized and became a member of Victory under the leadership of Reverend Mathew Henderson.
Anthony entered the workforce and secured employment with the five star landscaping company where he worked for several years, and was later hired at the Mary Magdalene nursing home where he worked in the maintenance department.
Anthony who was affectionately called "Hub" by his family and friends had an infectious smile, a humorous personality, and a love for sports. His favorite teams were the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants and the Philadelphia Flyers. On any given day you could catch "Hub" dressed in his team apparel.
Everyone knows Anthony had a special love for his mother and brother, they have a bond that will never be broken.
God shared Anthony with family and friends for 47 years.
Loved ones who preceded Anthony in death were: his grandparents; Tanner Lewis, Annie Ruth Harris, Richard Hilliard and Irene Hilliard, Aunt Brenda Lewis, Uncles Bobby Lewis and Alan Hilliard.
Anthony leaves to embrace and cherish his memory: his mother Patricia Hilliard, and father Major Hilliard; brother Robert Hilliard; step sister Megan Hilliard; sister-in-law Anitra Hilliard; nieces Isla Hilliard and Ava Hilliard; Uncle Ronald Lewis; aunts Shelida Lewis and Vera Purdie; significant other Rasheda Dabney, 3 very close friends John Brown, Demitrius Brown, Antoine Littlehead Chambers; long time mentors: Jack Evans and Donnie Ryder and host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
